Leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and responsibility are part of the Ripken Way. Cal Ripken, Sr. saw that kids could learn about life by learning baseball the right way – the Ripken way. Cal Jr. and his brother Bill remain deeply committed to sharing their father’s idea with kids and families, so they founded the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation. Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation has repeatedly turned to 15Four to develop training films and curriculum videos as well as relevant and entertaining educational video shorts aimed at youth across the United States.
Throughout our relationship, Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation has challenged 15Four to apply our unique creativity to their very important messaging. We have loved this, and have used a variety of approaches. We created training materials for their Healthy Choices-Healthy Children Program narrated by a fictional character, "Coach." We serialized our acclaimed film "TOOBIE" and created a youth-directed curriculum to serve as a teaching aid for instructors. Critical to all of this, we've helped the folks at Ripken strategize on the best ways to distribute this content to their world. One result was our creation of an interactive web site where youth can access film clips which reinforce their training.
Create media based curriculum which supports the Ripken brand while engaging both at-risk youth and, just as importantly, the instructors who will take part in their training.
The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation has invited 15Four into a collaborative relationship. During our partnership, we've created films for their annual fundraising gala, training films and resources for their club leaders, and developed new and creative approaches to messaging the youth across America who benefit from Ripken Foundation programming.
